Cost: $65 per teacher

Destination Integration:  ARTS Education

Join teachers from around the state for fun, new and engaging instructional ideas taught by national John F. Kennedy Center teaching artists!  The Ohio Kennedy Center Collaborative invites you to Youngstown, Ohio for a one and a half day conference on June 5-6, 2019.  Teachers will deepen their understanding and practice of arts integrated teaching to improve instruction and increase student learning through arts integration strategies. Enjoy the exploration of the creative process and the experience of the arts!

What should I bring?  Laptop/iPad to access internet, pen/pencil
What should I wear?  Casual, comfortable clothes
Can I attend one day only?  Yes, however the fee is still $65.  To earn graduate credit, both days must be completed.

GRADUATE CREDIT OPTION

Graduate credit ($190 per hour) is available through Ashland University.

Parking Information
SMARTS, Students Motivated by the Arts is located in the Ohio One Building on the First Floor. The entrance is on East Boardman Street. The closest parking is USA Parking Deck at Eastern Gateway Community College, 10 North Champion Street, Youngstown, Ohio 44503. The cost is $4.50 per day.  You can access the lot from either Champion Street or Walnut Street.
